Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 1 at 2 PM in The Church of St. Dominic, 19000 Van Aken Blvd., at Norwood Rd. Shaker Hts., OH. *** Our son, brother, brother in-law and nephew is greatly loved as you all know. We are all filled with memories of happy times, memories of great promise, and memories of an infectious joy that will never be replaced. Will was a wonderful person, and each of you who knew him no doubt have special memories that you will cherish. But at the risk of spreading a pall over this wonderful celebration of his life, we have asked Father Tom to deliver another message to you that we feel would have been very important to Will. Will was a victim of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Disease. He acknowledged this and had sought professional and community help in the treatment of his disease. He spent a month at the Clinic's Glenbeigh Hospital in November, and he was a regular participant with a Shaker AA group. He got a great deal out of all of this, and they truly helped him to have a better life. Will was only 19. He faced up to a disease that many choose to ignore or to sweep under the rug. What we are asking each of you to do in his memory is to not ignore this potential killer if it has touched you, a member of your family, or someone you care about. Reach out; there is help there for you. If you are fortunate enough that none of this has ever touched you please consider adding you financial support to the Cleveland Chapter of AA or to Glenbeigh Hospital. They can use your support, and it would be a fitting tribute to our much loved and forever missed Will Bewley. Thank you for being here today, and for the love and support that you have shown to each of us. *** - The Family of Will Bewley.
