William Meyer

William Richard Meyer, 90 years old, of Shaker Heights, Ohio passed away at home on November 25, 2013. He was the loving husband of the late Maire K. (nee Kissane); the father of Kathryn M. Getzendanner (Thomas) of Summit, NJ; Christine M. Sherwin (Brian) of Waite Hill, Ohio; Thomas E. Meyer of Ridgefield, CT. and the late Wm. Richard Meyer (Dahlem Smith); grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 9 children. A Memorial Mass of remembrance will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 1 PM in The Marian Chapel of The Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, OH. The family will greet visitors at the residence, on Friday evening, January 17, 2014, from 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 PM. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Preventative Medicine, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195.
